Here is my third living room inspiration/mood board. I worked off the slate/gold/light grey colour palette. I used items off made.com swell as amazon and DFS Sofas. I would put the console table against a wall with the gridded mirror above, the lights above.
These lights are adjustable to move the heads around, meaning you can aim it at darker spot and so on. The black of the lights and grid give a really nice contrast; especially as the sofa is quite light. I used a textured set of grey, darker pillows behind the geometric colourful pillows.
I added a yellow vase on top of the console table to tie it into the rest of the area and brighten that area up a bit. I think I would find a smaller, skinnier vase to pop next to it for height and dressing it up more. If and when you get flowers, you can pop them in the vase.
I think having a walkway behind the sofa, infront of the console table/wall,is really good for the flow of the room, and prevents the issue of people walking across the view of the TV.
I am a huge fan of the coffee table, it has an asymmetric feel and slants, giving it a great, modern look, which ties in well with the geometric pillows.
