So this is currently the idea I am working with. I found the gorgeous large bookshelf and the matching, lower one and fell in love. Anything can become a desk, for me the only requirement is that it is sturdy and there's a gap for my legs! The fact that the two match, really ties the whole room together and matching furniture makes a room feel more expensive and proper. The long pendant lights work really well with the low height of the desk. And they also pull the eye up and make use of the whole ceiling. Moving on to detailing the wall decor, the mirror is an uncertain idea, because I think a long floating shelf for a monitor or laptop would place there. But I like the use of similar, split wall prints. But I am a huge fan of using mirrors to open up the room, which is why, in the floor plan below, I put a gap in the corner , thinking of having a huge mirror, or something along those lines!

On the lower left of the image, are the items I will include on the shelves of the two shelves. I have the acrylic holder which is from B&M, which is gorgeous, doesn't clash with anything. This will go on the desk; along with the flip clock and lamp. I would have two lam

ps, to go either side of the desk, making everything match. I love the planters, using greenery in rooms are such a great way to add to spaces and these planters are very cute. I think I might pop them on the floor next to the armchair. I think the use of the armchair is great and adds an air of professionalism, most offices have a space for a more casual form of chat. I would most likely use two of them, with either a second, lowered book shelf- lie the desk, or a light grey coffee table. The empty gap adjacent to the door, is a huge window which means the space is very bright and great. I am thinking of using sheer curtains for privacy and then slatted, yellow curtains that will tie in the small pops of yellow from the furniture.
